Alkek Library Hours

The Albert B. Alkek Library is open extensive hours during the academic year to meet the needs of students, faculty and staff.

 Library Calendar and Hours

During interims, the Alkek Library is generally open 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday.  The Library is closed some holidays.

    Did you know that you have 24/7 access to the Texas State Library from anywhere?  That's right, whether you are on campus, at home, at another university, or conducting research in the field anywhere in the world, you can access the Texas State Library resources anywhere that you have Internet access.

    The Library’s online catalog and electronic resources, such as databases, ebooks, and ejournals, are accessible from any workstation connected to Internet.  If you are prompted for a user name and password, simply enter your NetID and password to access to these valuable research resources.
